Chithari

A bit overshadowed by the historic Bekal Fort and beach, Chithari is still virgin territory. The island is accessible by boat or wooden canoes the locals use. A part of the Bekal Tourism Project, this backwaters has all the makings of a mega tourist destination.

Attraction: A small tropical island, emerald lagoon and vast sandy beach.
